Testers serve as a key source of suggestions, comments, and criticism that help us make our products the best they can be. Also, to say "thank you" for your valuable time, effort, and feedback, we provide our most effective, contributory beta testers with a free, fully functional copy of the product when it’s officially released!
What will you need to become Desktop Picture Frame beta-tester?
- Have Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or greater installed.
If you do not have .NET Framework at least 2.0 installed, please, follow one of these links:
At present, it available for free. Downloading and installing it you will be provided with instructions. Please read and agree with every term of use of each component which you will install.
- Read the
End User License Agreement additions for beta-testing
carefully and agree to its terms.
- Download, install, configure and run Desktop Picture Frame beta version.
- Report your experiences to DPF Software by
beta@dpf.su.
Include any problems or bugs you experienced with the software, as well as suggestions for the product’s improvement and product "wish lists". Please, include as much information as possible about environment program runs: operating system, .NET Framework version, hardware, etc.
- Send at least one reasonable and valuable feedback, suggestion, bug report, feature request, etc. and
receive release registration code for free after beta-testing period will over.

We recommend you to uninstall previous beta versions before installing this one.
If you have earlier version of Desktop Picture Frame 4 beta installed, you may get executable update package only.
If autoupdate system of your local program copy is not functional, please, download and install following update too.

End User License Agreement additions for beta-testing:
- THE DESKTOP PICTURE FRAME BETA VERSION ("SOFTWARE") IS BELIEVED TO CONTAIN DEFECTS AND A PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS BETA TESTING LICENSE IS TO OBTAIN FEEDBACK ON SOFTWARE PERFORMANCE AND THE IDENTIFICATION OF DEFECTS. LICENSEE IS ADVISED TO SAFEGUARD IMPORTANT DATA, TO USE CAUTION AND NOT TO RELY IN ANY WAY ON THE CORRECT FUNCTIONING OR PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE AND/OR ACCOMPANYING MATERIALS.
- You agree not to transfer, copy, disclose, provide or otherwise make available beta-testing information in any form to any third party without the prior written consent of DPF Software. You agree to implement reasonable security measures to protect beta-testing information, but without limitation to the foregoing, shall use best efforts to maintain the security of the Software provided to you by DPF Software. You will use your best efforts to cooperate with and assist DPF Software in identifying and preventing any unauthorized use, copying, or disclosure of the software, documentation, or any portion thereof.
- You must not discuss the beta product with any third party (including posting information to blogs, forums, MySpace, YouTube, etc.) unless specifically authorized by DPF Software. Breeching the confidentiality of the beta program will result in immediate termination of your privileges and may result in civil or criminal action.
